Quickstart

AICMOHQ is a complete AI marketing system you can drive CLI-first: authenticate from the terminal, run research and drafts from git or a topic, review in the queue, and approve before anything publishes across scheduling, listening, creative, or ads.

1. Create an account

Sign up at aicmohq.com/pricing and pick a founding plan. Dashboard access needs an active subscription (credits reset each billing cycle). You can complete CLI login before billing is set up; drafting commands will tell you if a subscription is required.

2. Install the CLI

npm install -g @aicmohq/cli
aicmo --help

From this monorepo:

pnpm --filter @aicmohq/cli build:package && npm link --prefix packages/cli

Config is stored at ~/.aicmo/config.json (mode 0600). Override with AICMO_HOME, AICMO_URL, or AICMO_TOKEN for CI.

3. Log in

aicmo login

This starts device authorization (RFC 8628): the CLI prints a code, opens your browser to approve it, and saves a user token locally.

Local development against localhost:3000:

aicmo login --url http://localhost:3000

Confirm the session:

aicmo whoami
aicmo config

4. Connect a channel (optional for drafting)

Drafting works without OAuth. Publishing needs at least one connected platform.

aicmo connections

Connect X, LinkedIn, or Reddit under Settings → Integrations in the dashboard, then run aicmo connections again.

5. Your first draft

Pick a topic (fastest path):

aicmo write --topic "What we shipped this week" --platform linkedin --queue

Or draft from recent commits in your repo:

cd your-product-repo
aicmo write --from-git --platform x --queue

List drafts waiting for approval:

aicmo queue --status draft

Approve and publish when ready (default workspace mode is approve-first):

aicmo queue approve <id>

aicmo geo and aicmo listen are local demos (fixtures, nothing is published or sent). aicmo index talks to the private IndexRush module when it is configured for your workspace. IndexRush is closed-source. It is not MIT-licensed and is not shipped in this repository.
